we were tasked to create a board game highlighting an environmental issue. We decided to make the board game about the players being bees that are trying to get to the flower bed and hive. However, there are obstacles in your way that will slow down your journey or will get you captured or go to the wrong flower bed.
All players in the Board game will play as bees having to reach the goal of their flower field home by throwing the dice to move. Landing on specific tiles will make u pick a card from the pile which will give u harmful or positive effects on your journey.
Rainstorm
Oh no! You got caught in a Rainstorm. Go back 5 steps.
Factory
You get taken to a honey-making Factory. You have been sent to
The City.
Virus
You suddenly got a bee Virus. You get sent to a Dead Flower
Field so you don't infect anyone else.
Flower Field
Once you have finally arrived to the Flower Field you have won the game being able to arrive to your home
safely.
The City
If you are taken to The City you will be trapped and made to make honey for a factory.
Dead Flower Field
If you are taken to the Dead Flower Field you will be left there until you die from the virus. You will then be sent to the beginning to try and arrive at the Goal.
