Andy Warhol was a famous pop artist who was born on August 6, 1928 and was well known for his portraits. He was influenced by the pop art movement and based his career on it.

Andy Warhol's work is done in a vibrant and bold fashion, the colour he uses for most of his art works are yellow, green, red and purple. However, the use of these colours can be seen as unfitting to his theme. This is because Andy Warhol's theme is based upon Death, Money and celebrities.

The materials that Andy Warhol uses are Ink and acrylics which gives most of his art works the vibrant look. I like the use of the colours that Andy Warhol uses because I think that it makes his work stand out from the rest of the pop art. the use of bright bold colours along with darker colours such as red, gives off a disturbing and uneasy atmosphere.

MY STUDY

This is a study of the style of Andy Warhol. I used bright bold colours to create the feeling of Andy Warhols work since his work tends to be vibrant and bold.

The reason why I made my portrait mono black, was to represent the shading that Andy Warhol used in his art prints.
