I used this mark making drawing techniques to get used to the brushes and tools in photoshop. The small miniature boxes on the left were done so I could get used to the tools in photoshop.
The shape study on the right was done so I could get a grasp on 3D objects as well as getting used to the available tools. To colour and paint he shapes, I used the regular brush in photoshop (B)
The reason why I used the colour grey was because I wanted my work to look in a more simplistic way.
I then used the smudge tool to blend in the colours together in order to make the shape look more 3D and smooth.
