The movie: Indie game, is about three game developers who struggle to publish their game but succeed at the end.


The first scene is about a developer who creates a game called "Meat boy."

The game Meat Boy is about a boy who lost his skin and has to complete a set of platforms.


-The game is laid out in a 2d form mat and follows a platform game.


-This games sold over 1 million copies


-The game 'super meat boy' was released in 2010.





The Indie game was made by the creator Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes.


Edmund McMillen is an indie game developer who was born in 1980 March 2. Through out childhood, Edmund McMillen would constantly draw and illustrate art of monsters and aliens. Edmund McMillen would go on to create indie comics and other graphic works in the future.


Tommy Refenes is a game programmer who was born 1981 June 14. Tommy Refenes studied programming ever since he was eleven and from the age of 18, he became a professional programmer.



Braid

Braid was made by a indie game developer, Jonathan Blow.


Braid is a game where you play as a character who can control time, the character must complete certain levels which are laid out like a platform game.


-This game was inspired by super Mario


-The game is a pixelated 2D Puzzle solving game.


-The game sold over 450,000 copies


The game was released in 2008 August 6. It was created by the game developer Jonathan Blow.


Jonathan blow is a game developer who was born in 1971. While living in California, Jonathan Blow developed a passion for game programming. He soon dropped out of collage to create his own game company with the help of his friends. After creating the game company, Jonathan Blow created the game Braid in 2008.















Fez


Fez is a platform game made by Phil Fish. Fez uses a 3 Dimensional space while being designed in a 2-D way.


-the game Fez was released in 13 April 2012 and was a huge hit in the gaming industry.


-Fez is a platform game which is made in a 2-D style however it uses 3-D game mechanics.


The game has sold over 1 million copies.



Phill Fish is the founder and creator of Fez. He is a Canadian Game developer who was born in November 1, 1984. Phill Fish was raised in Quebec, his childhood revolved around digital video games since his father was involved with a game company. Following is fathers footsteps he soon became a game developer who worked for Ubisoft, however he soon quit the company and decided to create his own game, Fez.
