For the rotoscope project I first took a video recording of me doing basic movements. The video I took was about me jumping multiple times, I decided to jump instead of run and walk because I wanted the rotoscope to be more interest engaging.

I then exported the video to Adobe Animate where I converted the video into a symbol so that I could spread it out between the layers. I named the symbol ' Frame by Frame'. On the timeline I made the video layer separate and locked it so that I could avoid further mistakes.

After the video was exported onto Adobe Animate, I drew a purple outline by using the pencil tool in Animate. I did this frame by frame until there was a purple outline animation of me jumping over obstacles. However the video frames per second was too fast and it shortened the video by a large amount, so I decided to add a gap between the frames to double the video of Rotoscope playing.
This is the final finished rotoscope.
Process:
take a video about any movement to support the rotoscope.
import the video into adobe animate
convert the video into a symbol so that it is spread out on every frame.
create a new layer and select the pencil or brush tool.
draw and trace over the video frame by frame on the new layer.
